Carmen is the mother of Alexandra. She looks identical to her daughter but is just older. Carmen loves her daughter very much, but her main objective and focus is for Alex to get a boyfriend.
Biography[]
In "Alex Gets Schooled", her parents enroll her at Dorsal Academy in England after it was assumed that Alex had gotten straight F’s on her report card (although it later turned out that Alex had gotten A’s and B’s and it turns out that Mandy was actually the one who had gotten straight F’s).
In "Totally Busted", she comes home from Europe along with Samantha and Clover's mothers, Gabriella and Stella, and they find out that their daughters are undercover super spies for WOOHP. They make their daughters quit (Carmen feels that finding a boyfriend for Alex is more important), but they get kidnapped by Mandy, Dominique, and Caitlin at The Groove after they get turned into spy-ssassins because of the SUDS. After their daughters save them, they (Alex, Sam, and Clover) get captured by Mandy, Dominique, and Caitlin. Carmen, Gabby, and Stella turn to Jerry Lewis for help and become spies to save their daughters, and in the end they become official spies for WOOHP (Carmen's Catsuit was royal blue).
It has been revealed that Carmen is a bad driver just like her daughter is, as seen in "Mommies Dearest" and "Totally Busted".
Appearance[]
Like her daughter, Carmen has honey-brown eyes, dark skin, freckles/markings at her cheeks, and sleek hair in a bob style, though with slightly messy bangs and a straight-cut fringe.
Originally in "Mommies Dearest", her skin was slightly much darker than Alex's, her hair was a dark auburn color, her face markings resembled freckles more, and she wore crimson-red lipstick.
"Alex Gets Schooled" marks the first time Carmen's appearance changed, appearing closer to Alex. Her skin was slightly lighter (though still slightly darker than Alex's), her hair became the same black color as her daughter's, her facial cheek marks are the same as her daughter's as well, and her lipstick was a more rose-red color.
Her appearance would change again in "Totally Busted", now becoming a complete spitting image of Alex. Her skin is now the same as her daughter's complexion, her hair is still black, though with slightly swift ends, and her lipstick is a rose-pink color (the same as Alex's lip gloss).

- Carmen shares the same voice actresses with her daughter.
- In "Totally Busted", Carmen's hairstyle resembles Alex's future self in "Futureshock!".
- She is the only mother of the spies whose catsuit color does not correlate with the shade of her daughter's. (Sam's mother, Gabriella, wears a jade green one, (a very light green). Clover's mother, Stella, wears a pink one, a related color to red.)
- She is the only mother who does not appear in season 6.
