Synopsis[]

A villain is making all of the adults in the world act as children using evil technology disguised as old-fashioned toys, particularly in the form of a Barbie inspired doll called "Little Ann". Sam is also affected, becoming a woman-child in behavior.

In a B-story, Clover develops a crush on Caitlin's older brother, Rick, who's a senior at Beverly Hills High. Clover tries dressing and acting older to impress him, but finds out at the end of the episode that he is actually going out with Mandy.

  • Clover mocks/questions the villain’s clothing/fashion.
  • Mrs. Lewis has a suit similar to Clover's yellow suit.
  • This is the first episode Sam gets brainwashed or hypnotized.
  • This marks the first mention of Caitlin, but it is not revealed who she is until season 4.
  • It is revealed that Caitlin has an older brother named Rick, who's a senior at Beverly Hills High, but this episode marks his only appearance in "Totally Spies!"
  • A running gag in the episode is someone saying that Clover's sophisticated clothing makes her look like someone's mother.
  • Vladimir's clothes resembles a 1970's disco dancer.
  • Goof: multiple historical anachronisms, all related to the fact that back in the 70s, Russia was still the Soviet Union.
    • Goof: disco music was western made music, therefore contraband in the USSR. It is unlikely that Vladimir would have heard of it, let alone been a fan. While some Western music and media was allowed in, it would be rare.
    • Goof: the Soviet State would have handled all international distribution of the Little Ann and all of Vladimir's other toys, as well as keeping all of the profits. Vladimir would not have made money off of his creations.
    • Goof: Vladimir could not have run a private toy company in the USSR. His "Little Ann" doll would have been property of the Soviet government.
  • Goof: When Alex tells Clover she should try being herself to impress Rick, Alex's eyebrows briefly disappear.
  • Goof: When the girls arrive in a WOOHP plane after being WOOHPed by Jerry, there are a couple of times when part of Jerry's face is colored gray like his hair.
  • Goof: When Jerry tells the girls about the Manicure Kit, Alex is wearing the Magnabelt. But when Jerry tosses the electric blue nail polish to Alex, the belt is missing.
  • Goof: When the girls send Jerry the toys they received, they send more toys than they were given.
  • Goof: One of the toys the girls send Jerry is colored orange at first but when the toy arrives in Jerry's office, it has the same color scheme as a compowder.
  • Goof: When the girls are trying to sneak into the toy factory, Sam's makeup is messy but later it is fine.
  • Goof: When Rodney first picks Sam up, his hair is purple but later it is yellow.
  • Goof: When Clover and Alex see Sam knock off Rodney's helmet, the guy who is carrying Clover and Alex has a dark blue helmet, yellow ear muffs, and yellow hair instead of a yellow helmet, orange ear muffs, and purple hair.
  • Goof: When the girls are first taken into the toy factory, the dresses on the big little Ann dolls are pink but then they are light pink.
  • Goof: When Clover and Alex are captured after Sam leaves with Vladimir Kozyrev, they are wearing the big little Ann doll dresses, but when they are chained upside down, they are wearing their catsuits.
