• When the gadget is introduced to the girls in "Power Yoga Much?", Samantha is unimpressed by it, as she says, "Hot and Spicy Gum? The WOOHP lab must be seriously understaffed."
• The Hot and Spicy Gum has no effect on Samantha. She figures this is because of her habit of eating spicy foods. She also didn't mind the taste of the gum due to the same reason.
