Lense
Overview[]
The M-ray Contact Lense allow the wearer to see through anything. When they are activated they turn red. In their initial appearance in "Model Citizens" they are only shown to be able to see through metallic objects, but when they are used later in the series, they are shown to allow the wearer to see the outlines of human bodies and see through non-metallic objects.
They first appear in "Model Citizens" in the aquamarine variant. Here, Alex used them to look inside a trailer to observe the model Gazelle. Alex uses them again when Clover is getting kidnapped to look inside a helicopter. They are used a third time in Auckland by Alex to find Tuesday Tate and Helmut behind the Modelizer. The contacts places the wearer's vision in a red hue and have a binocular function that allows zooming in.
In "Here Comes the Sun", they are used by Clover to look inside the bottom of Sunny Day's cargo ship. In this appearance they only outline the wearer's pupil with a red glow when in use instead of their entire eye.
In "Alex Quits", Sam uses them to look inside Willard's lab to see if anyone is inside before sneaking in. Here the interior of metal surfaces are shown in light blue.
In "Matchmaker", they appear in the aquamarine variant. They are used by Clover to look inside a gym to spy on Alex's date and to see where the ring Mandy's boyfriend was gifting her came from.
In "Escape From WOOHP Island", they are used by Clover to find a motherboard to target inside Gargantuan. Contrary to its robotic appearance its internals are organic, and Clover and Sam had to outsmart it by brute force. Here the contacts have a targeting reticle that can be moved around and penetrated surfaces are shown in a lighter color scheme.
