Tammy is a friend and former band mate of Jerry Lewis appearing in "I Hate The Eighties".
Biography[]
Tammy and Jerry formed the band "Double Digits" over 20 years ago; they both sang, Tammy played guitar and/or keyboard, while Jerry played keytar. The band was eventually disbanded with Tammy and Jerry going their separate ways, Jerry committing more time and effort to WOOHP.
By the beginning of the episode, Tammy wrote an e-mail to Jerry about meeting, recounting their days together, Tammy had become nostalgic after having heard a "weak pop song" on the radio, reminiscing how she used to sing and "was much better". When Tammy and Jerry met, she told him her story and asked if he'd be interested in starting the band again. Jerry was excited at the prospect and convinced her to perform at the restaurant, where they were dining, having spotted a vacant stage with a keytar and a keyboard. While Tammy was thrilled to be back on-stage, she seemed to be less impressed with Jerry's singing. At the end of the episode she told Jerry, she had decided on a solo career.
Trivia[]
- She appears to be inspired by Annie Lennox, especially as part of the eighties new wave duo Eurythmics.
